The new Santa Cruz R is the answer to the baroque, barrel shaped horse or pony. The recessed hoop tree accommodates mutton withers and allows for optimal shoulder freedom. The wide-set, open angle rails allow for stability and closeness, while the R panel with open pommel and cantle offer the widest channel and comfort for your horse’s spine. The short length of the tree makes this the ideal saddle for Cob types as well. The seat is deep and very supportive with a medium twist. The forward flap allows for ideal contact on wider barreled horses.
